The Bestow Skin Education Series

For Beauty Therapists in New Zealand and Australia

The Bestow Skin Education Series aims to give therapists the knowledge and tools they need to move forward in their Bestow journey and offer helpful and informative ways to pass this new information on to their clients.

This online series is free and takes place over a number of months. The first subject we will cover is Essential Fatty Acids.

Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs)

Essential Fatty Acid deficiency (EFAD) is the most common deficiency affecting skin. A lack of these important fats speeds up skin ageing and fuels problems from comedones and acne right through to dry, sensitive skin or even inflammatory disorders like eczema or rosacea.

EFA deficiency is also one of the easiest things to treat but unfortunately there’s so much misunderstanding and misinformation about these important fats that most therapists are not addressing this deficiency as well as they could.

This education series aims to bust these myths and give therapists the knowledge and tools they need to improve every client’s skin health.

What We Will Cover:

Jenny Barrow will start with an introductory series of talks giving you the information you need to consult effectively with your clients.

For those of you who would like a more in depth knowledge about EFA’s, Janine Tait will run a series of expert sessions that looks into the chemistry and the research into these precious fats.

Sign up to the Bestow University Graduates Facebook Group so that you are notified when the series starts which will be in July 2019.
